OUR STORY
From Best Friends to Business Partners
We have watched each other grow since sixth grade. That's right, we made it through the awkward phase together! To now be business partners is a dream come true.
We are always inspiring each other to be our best selves, which in turn has a lot of ideas flowing for our business. We love getting to see each other pursue our dreams, and we love it even more that we are living our dreams together.
Some fun facts about us:
We both have multiple fur babies -- Taya has 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a horse, and Catherine has 2 cats and 1 dog
We are both Vegans
We both met our husbands in high school

Taya Cable
Lover of the moon, vintage furniture, estate sales, and all living beings.
I gained a passion for weddings in 2015 when I talked my grandparents into building The Barn at Meadow Farms for my husband and I to get married in. After my own wedding, I quickly took this business under my wing and poured all of my energy into booking weddings and events.
After four years of focusing on The Barn at Meadow Farms, I decided it was time to branch off and build something of my own. I launched my business TayaAlexus offering coordination, planning, and floral services. In the beginning I brought my husband with me everywhere to be my extra set of hands. I fully believe he could coordinate an entire wedding without me now and I trust him to build any flower arrangement. Seriously, he is good! Once I started booking larger weddings, I needed more help and that's where everything started for Catherine and I! She has been my sidekick for the past few years, helping me anytime I ask, while still working a full time job.
In 2020, before the pandemic, I decided to grow Cut Flowers as a test. Thankfully I did because weddings were cancelled for months and it gave me something to do during quarantine. I got my hands dirty, worked on my farmers tan, and watched my vision grow right before my eyes.
Its amazing to see how everything comes together is such a perfect way. Catherine decided to quit her job in April 2021 and join me full time!

My husband and I have three fur babies - A husky named Hawke and two cats named Spade and Ace.
For the past few years I have been working alongside Taya whenever I could with weddings and events. I knew this was a passion of mine, and I immediately began dreaming of the day I could join her full time.
On April 30, 2021, I left my corporate job to pursue a life of passion and creativity. There is something so magical about going to the flower field, listening to the birds chirping, seeing the bees and butterflies circling the flowers that were once small seeds, to then make our own magic with each flower that grows.
I have always felt the most at peace when I am outside, so it is no exaggeration when I say I am living my dreams solely by getting to spend my time primarily outdoors. Being a Taurus, I should have known to pursue a career where I am one with the Earth.
I am in awe everyday that I get to do what I love and that I get to do it alongside my best friend.
